When playing on “Octaves” mode you will have 5 different dynamics triggered by the velocity (amount of force you hit the keys on the controller/keyboard), this way you can have a more natural feel as you play it. You can always adjust the velocity latter on to achieve your desired dynamic for that specific note. The dynamics are:

• Slide short: approaching a short note (no sustain) with a fast slide
• Stac short: playing a staccato note - no slide
• Long: playing a long note, letting it ring out
• Slide long: approaching the note with a slide and letting it ring out
• Trem: playing a tremolo octave and letting it fade out

*tremolos are only available on the Octaves mode!

Single Notes:

Playing single notes with the thumb in four different dynamics triggered by velocity:

• Slide short: approaching a short note (no sustain) with a fast slide
• Stac short: playing a staccato note - no slide
• Long: playing a long note, letting it ring out
• Slide long: approaching the note with a slide and letting it ring out

Sustains:

All long notes in three different dynamics. Works great for sustained chords.

Harmonics:

All notes played as harmonics. Please note that I have recorded every note individually using the artificial harmonic technique. No stretching of samples was used.

*Note: On the last 3 notes of the harmonic mode I have played the common used effect of downstroking all the harmonics on the 12th fret, 7th fret and 5th fret.
