Love Synthesizers First Love | 4-Part Multitimbral Polyphonic FM Synthesizer

Coming Soon! The hotly anticipated First Love is in the final stages of production and expected to land in the UK in September. Stock will be limited! Secure your order from the first batch today. Take the absolute fear out of frequency modulation. Handcrafted and conceptualized in Iceland, the Love Synthesizers First Love is a groundbreaking standalone, 4-part multitimbral polyphonic FM synthesizer that completely redefines the relationship between musicians and digital synthesis. Built to shatter the sterile, menu-heavy barriers historically tied to vintage DX7-style architectures, First Love introduces a colorful, deeply interactive user experience centered around an expansive 7-inch animated graphics touchscreen. Here, patching is tactile: to create frequency modulation, you simply swipe one oscillator operator straight into another with your finger. Beneath its playful, portable enclosure—accented by striking physical hardware encoders engraved with the letters L-O-V-E—lies a powerhouse digital sound generator. First Love runs four completely independent 4-operator FM engines simultaneously. Each operator behaves far beyond a standard basic sinewave, routing signals through an integrated dynamic wavefolder and a unique sine-to-square shaper before cross-modulating. This unlocks seamless transitions from buttery, fundamental acoustic timbres into glassy digital strings, additive organ stacks, and tearing industrial grit. Beyond sound creation, First Love is a self-contained composition ecosystem. It houses an advanced 4x4 live audio/MIDI looper that enables real-time overdubbing, merging, and linear structural arranging on the fly. Performance workflows are elevated by a complex "Riff Arpeggiator" that strings customizable note-and-silence paths together, alongside a microtonal tuner backing up to 256 custom scales. Powered via USB-C or internal lithium batteries and equipped with built-in stereo monitoring speakers, the First Love allows you to sketch complex multi-track electronic pieces anywhere inspiration strikes. Blip Expert Take First Love is the absolute antidote to the "anti-FM" bias. For decades, musicians have loved the metallic, organic, and hyper-expressive sounds of FM synthesis, but hated the clinical, calculator-style programming workflow. Love Synthesizers fixed this by turning modulation paths into a visual drawing pad. What blew us away at Superbooth 2026 is "The Playground" mode. It functions as a complete interface builder where you can group your four internal multitimbral tracks into interactive performance blocks of chords, riffs, and microtonal scales, using the velocity-sensitive pads to trigger arrangements. Adding wavefolding directly inside the operator block gives it a distinct West Coast grit that standard digital synths rarely touch. It feels less like operating a computer and more like playing an instruments. Who Is This For? Portable Producers & Live Jammers: Artists who want a standalone, backpack-friendly groovebox with battery power and built-in speakers to compose intricate multi-part electronic tracks completely away from a laptop. FM Sound Design Explorers: Synthesists who want the limitless acoustic power of multi-operator FM and wave-morphing envelopes, but want a visual touchscreen workflow that favors happy accidents.

Neuzeit Instruments Drop | Snapshot-Based MIDI Control Center

Neuzeit Instruments Drop | Snapshot-Based MIDI Control Center

Blip Says The Neuzeit Instruments Drop is the ultimate live performance brain for complex hardware rigs. Anyone who performs dawless sets with a mix of synthesizers, grooveboxes, and drum machines knows the exact moment panic sets in: you are building a massive tension ramp, twisting filters on three different machines, maxing out your effects, and suddenly you have to reset a dozen parameters back to baseline exactly on the downbeat.   The Drop solves this elegantly without ever needing a computer. It provides an ultra-premium desktop layout of 32 push encoders, 8 faders, and 8 mutes across multiple layers, allowing you to capture the entire state of your studio as a "snapshot." Thanks to its integrated master clock, you can pre-schedule a snapshot to trigger automatically at the exact end of a 1-to-32 bar cycle. You can go completely wild mangling your gear during a build-up, knowing that the Drop will instantly and flawlessly snap all your hardware back to solid ground right on the beat. Drop is a Snapshot-based MIDI control center, the 'brain' of any live setup. With Drop, it's possible to map your MIDI equipment across devices and easily store different controller positions as snapshots. During performance, you can jump back to these snapshots at any time (JUMP mode) and trigger them. All of this can be quantized and with variable fade time, allowing you to use a snapshot for slowly building tension and automatically have multiple controllers move simultaneously. A particularly useful feature, is firing snapshots in DROP mode at exactly the right moment, precisely at the end of a pattern of, for example, 8 bars. For this purpose, Drop features an integrated master clock that counts any number between 1 and 32 bars (= cycle). In DROP mode, you can schedule a snapshot to trigger at the end of a cycle, build tension and go crazy on effects until then, and lean back as the snapshot automatically turns the controllers at exactly the right moment, bringing your live set back to solid ground. Saving and recalling snapshots is quick and simple even during live situations, allowing you to work spontaneously with new snapshots on-the-fly during your performance. The LED buttons always provide clear visual feedback about what's happening. If you want to plan further ahead, you can prepare sequences of DROP snapshots according to your song arrangement in the studio. Then use CHAIN mode to automatically trigger them sequentially on stage. Multiple chains and banks of snapshots are available, allowing you to configure your live set according to a song-by-song structure. Features: Connect all your live performance gear to one master controller 20 banks with 20 snapshots to store the state of all controls on-the-fly 2 x MIDI USB-C port, automatic device or host detection 4 x MIDI In and 4 x MIDI Out via TRS, type A and B support 2 x CV-In and 2 x CV-Out for clocks and control signals Macro mappings, up to 8 MIDI targets and individual curves per control Merge incoming MIDI (e.g. from a sequencer) with Drop‘s MIDI out MIDI clock in/out with individual millisec delays to perfectly sync all gear 32 encoders (no detents, with push), 8 mutes, 8 faders, 2 layers A/B CCs, Notes, 14-bit CCs, program+bank change, Aftertouch, Pitchbend Ableton clip launcher (script available) and note keyboard mode Fast and intuitive mapping on the device itself - no external software Powered through USB-C or external power supply (included) Solid metal chassis, metal shaft encoders, built to last   Scope of delivery: Drop Controller USB-C to USB-C cable USB-C to USB-A female adapter MIDI TRS male to DIN female adapter Two MIDI TRS cables with 3.5 mm jacks, black-gold fabric sheathing and a length of 125 cm. External power supply: 12V, 1.5A, incl. adapter for EU, US, UK and AU/CN. Note: The controller can also be powered via USB-C exclusively. However, using the power supply leaves two USB-C ports free. This allows to supply other USB-devices with power. The Brain of Your Live Rig The Neuzeit Instruments Drop is a high-performance MIDI control center built for the stage. It moves beyond simple control by allowing you to capture the state of your entire studio—every knob, fader, and button—as a "snapshot". During a performance, you can recall these states instantly or use the unique Drop Mode to schedule transitions. Using its internal master clock, Drop can fire a snapshot precisely at the end of a musical cycle (1–32 bars), letting you focus on the build-up while the hardware handles the transition. With a rugged metal chassis and 32 high-quality push-encoders, Drop is designed to centralize your workflow. It acts as a bridge for all your gear, featuring extensive connectivity for USB, TRS MIDI, and even CV-based modular systems. Whether you are performing a DAWless set or managing a complex Ableton session, Drop provides the stability and tactile feedback needed to execute professional electronic performances with confidence. Drop Snapshots The Drop acts as the central brain for your entire live rig. It allows you to store the state of all your connected MIDI gear into Snapshots (20 banks of 20 snapshots each). Store & Recall: You can map up to 32 encoders and 8 faders to different MIDI targets across all your synths and drum machines. Once you have a perfect "state" (e.g., specific filter cutoffs, effect levels, and synth parameters), you save it as a Snapshot. JUMP Mode: Instantly trigger a snapshot to snap all connected gear to those exact positions immediately. DROP Mode (The Big Feature): This is for building tension. You can "go crazy" on your effects and filters to build a riser, then schedule a snapshot to trigger precisely at the end of a cycle (e.g., 8 or 16 bars). The Drop counts down and automatically "drops" all your settings back to solid ground exactly on the beat. Quantized Transitions: Snapshots can have variable fade times and can be quantized, allowing multiple controllers to move simultaneously and smoothly over a set period, creating automated, complex transitions across multiple devices with one press. CHAIN Mode: You can even sequence these snapshots into a "Chain" that follows your song arrangement, triggering them sequentially as your set progresses. View Drop User Guide PDF

Landscape HC-TT – Motorless Lo-Fi Tape Scraper, Scratcher & CV Control
Landscape

Landscape HC-TT – Motorless Lo-Fi Tape Scraper, Scratcher & CV Control

The HC-TT is a compact cassette manipulation device which allows you to manually play and manipulate a cassette tape. Sound will only be produced while your hands are turning either of the large playback knobs, resulting in rich, unstable low-fi textures. By turning these knobs, you are directly rotating the cassette spindles which moves the tape across the internal tape head. The knobs “play” a regular cassette forwards and backwards. The results are reminiscent of scratching a vinyl record, or of the satisfying, sludgy sounds of slow tape. There’s no motor in this device, so direction and speed is left to the performer. The illuminated touch switch is a momentary mute for both the mono audio output and the CV/Gate outputs. The Arches and Moons touch plates allow for feedback and other strange interactions. This device does not record audio but only outputs pre-recorded audio from any cassette tape. The HC-TT comes a power adapter, and with COUNTERCLOCKWISE, an open-source sample compilation cassette featuring various artists, produced by Landscape. What it can do “scratch” cassette tapes direct human-mechanical connection to playback speed, allowing for gestural responsiveness works with any cassette tape (but not with tape loops) create rhythmic effects by directionally tapping knobs or using the momentary mute access new creative possibilities for your old cassette collection How to use it POWER: Use a 9-12v regulated tip (+) power supply (like the one that comes with your unit; DC jack on the back edge). The HC-TT can also be powered with a 9v battery if you purchase a tip (+) 2.1mm plug to 9V battery adapter from your local electronics store. AUDIO OUTPUT: The main 1/4" mono output is on the left side panel (up arrow). Plug into a mixer, guitar pedal, etc. INSERT CASSETTE: Lift both playback knobs until they stop and hold them up with one hand. Slide your chosen tape gently into the cassette shaped opening with the exposed tape going in first. Let the knobs fall back down and seat fully into the cassette spindles (you will sometimes hear/feel them lock into place when fully seated).  MOVE TAPE: Spin the Forwards or Backwards knob in the direction indicated by the knob’s arrow (larger left knob is forwards and right knob is backwards). There is no motor or automatic playback in this device. You are the motor. Only move one knob at a time, and only in the direction indicated. Otherwise, the tape will go slack and you may not hear sound. While turning the knobs in the right direction, you will feel the tension of the tape inside. Each knob should be turned by itself until you are able to get the feel of the taut tape which will then allow for responsive backwards and forwards scrubbing over the tape head, creating sounds similar to scratching vinyl. Two signs that you have reached the end of your tape include no longer hearing audio and/or resistance to spinning either knob. This indicates that it’s time to flip the cassette. If you were to force past the resistance felt at the end of the tape, you risk damaging or breaking the tape, so be careful.  GAIN: The top right knob is gain. The gain control at its highest level can add a hint of coloration to the signal. At its lowest level it still allows cleaner audio and lower CV out when moving the tape. The gain is pre-CV/Gate, which means it can be used in tandem with the tone control to effect the CV/Gate envelope follower response.  TONE: The top left knob is a lo-fi dirty Tone control, which cuts most bass content at its lowest level and boosts bass content at its highest. This control is pre-envelope follower (pre-CV/Gate) which means it will allow you to adjust your CV/Gate levels and response. You will hear scrubbing sounds when turning this knob and the audio will cut out due to its placement in the feedback path of the circuit. Turning the knob very quickly creates a bass drum like effect, and if you do this while holding the touch mute, the tone will change. Turning the knob quickly can be used to send out a Gate signal or to “mute” audio destructively. MOMENTARY MUTE: There is a Momentary Touch Mute for gating audio (tape or external) and/or CV/Gate outputs at the top left (sunset shape). When you touch, the audio will mute and the LED will turn off. CV/GATE OUTPUTS: 3.5mm CV and Gate outputs (Half Moon and Square, on the back side) allow you to use your chosen tape's audio content in combination with your playing style as a way to manipulate a modular synthesizer. To put it another way, the HC-TT is also a simple tape based "controller" or modulation source. Hand crank a sequencer using the gate output, or "scratch" a VCO with the CV output. TOUCHPOINTS: I/O Feedback Touch Points are indicated by arches and moons on the left side, allowing for touch sensitive analog feedback within the preamp (not to tape) when both are touched. The quality of this feedback is changed by how much skin touches each Point and the positions of the Tone and Gain controls. The feedback you create through your skin also outputs to CV/Gate. This feedback can distort and mangle your manipulated tape sound and incoming audio. By touching only the input pad (arches, on right) you will turn your body into an antenna injecting radio signals, hum or static to the audio and CV/Gate outputs (radio frequencies and results vary greatly by location). You can also use one hand on the input pad, and another hand hovering as a lo-fi “circuit sniffer” to listen to the sounds of laptops, cellphones and other equipment which output EMF.  INPUT/OUTPUT: The main 1/4" mono output is on the left side panel (up arrow). There is a 1/4” mono input on the right side panel (down arrow), which allows you to use the HC-TT’s circuitry as a lo-fi overdrive and playable touch feedback processing device. The input does not record to tape. Instead, it goes through the pre-amp circuit (tone and gain) and into the envelope follower. The touch mute will also mute incoming audio. Tips & Tricks TAPE TIPS: Highly suggested tapes include: your favorite pop album, self-help tapes, books on tape, hypnosis recordings, mix-tapes, your least favorite pop album, classical music, sound effects, children's music, adults' music, lectures, sermons, film scores, dusty unmarked tapes, melted car tapes, 4 track tapes and also additional tapes. Experiment with a wide variety of audio to best understand how the HC-TT will interact with audio density, pitch, and texture. Tapes with high density of audio (metal, rock, gospel, orchestral, etc.) will generally not sound very interesting because of the lack of separation of elements. But music and recordings with greater detail, peaks/valleys and separation (voice, hip-hop, nature sounds, techno, etc.) will generally provide more varied results. Louder recordings will generally allow the greatest amount of clarity. Also note that very loud recordings will overdrive the internal preamp to a greater degree when the gain knob is fully clockwise.  SCRATCHING: To effectively scrub or scratch cassette audio, it’s important to feel the tension of the tape when touching both knobs. After tension is felt, then each knob can be moved individually in the direction of the arrows while that tension is held by both hands, perhaps by gently pausing the movement of the opposite knob or by moving it in quick succession. The knobs can also be directionally tapped causing the tape to stutter along the tape head.  MUTE EFFECTS: The momentary mute switch allows stuttering effects / rhythmic gating.  FEEDBACK: While touching both touch points (arches + moons) and also introducing slight contact towards the sides of the touch mute switch you can change the character of the feedback to sound more liquid. By touching all three directly you will hear bee or mosquito like tonalities which will change depending on the amounts of skin in contact with each of the touch points. Changing the gain and tone knobs should also change these tonalities.  STEREO FIELD PAIRING: You can connect and process the HC-TT with the Stereo Field without a cable. Just touch the output (Moons) on the HC-TT while turning either playback knob and also touching the surface of the Stereo Field. Search the surface of the Stereo Field to find inputs and of course create feedback, distortion and dirty filtering. Create feedback on both units and connect them together with your body to listen to them talk to each other. It will be hard to tell who is affecting who here. STABILITY: If you would like slightly less wow and flutter in your manual audio playback, try recording a cassette at a faster speed, if you have a tape recorder or 4 track with this option. This will mean you need to turn the knobs faster for normal playback which can sometimes provide greater stability. INTERFERENCE: Please note that certain electronic devices will create interference when near the HC-TT. It's recommended that devices such as phones, laptops, and ipads not be closer than 1-2 feet away. Or, it's recommended that these devices are moved very close to the HC-TT so that you can listen to the beautiful chatter of Wi-Fi, cellular space and glowing screens. For example, holding your phone in one hand, open your email and refresh to see if any new exciting emails have arrived. (Turn down your speakers!) Keep refreshing over and over while moving the phone over the top of the HC-TT. You can find sweet spots where the signal is very loud and detailed. Another example is to touch the trackpad (making pinching and unpinching motions) on your computer while also touching the moons touch point on the HC-TT. In this way, you can listen to the capacitive sensing of your computer’s trackpad.  Strip away the motor, take literal hold of magnetic tape, and turn cassette archaeology into a physical, highly performative art form. The Landscape HC-TT (Human Controlled Tape Transport) is a completely unique, compact cassette manipulation instrument, lo-fi preamp, and modular CV controller that brings vinyl-style scratching, unstable pitch warbles, and dark tape rumbles into your production workflow. Strikingly constructed entirely out of stacked, heavy-duty 2mm immersion gold PCBs with a gorgeous moss-green finish and signature gold contact paths, the HC-TT contains absolutely no internal motors. Tape speed and direction are 100% dependent on your hands.

Erica Synths Steampipe
Erica Synths

Erica Synths Steampipe

The Steampipe is an 8-voice polyphonic synthesizer, but it has no conventional oscillators. Instead, it mimics the way sound is created in wind and string instruments and it is fine-tuned to create a wide range of sounds. The Steampipe is optimized for performance with wind MIDI controllers and it works great with any MIDI keyboard. The overtones the Steampipe produces are very organic and rich. It also comes with great-sounding presets. The Steampipe is quite versatile and allows for nuanced sonic exploration, conjuring sonic imagery ranging from from wisps of cloud to fairground band organs, then to industrial horns of the railroad and finally, to massive, otherworldly ambiences. Due to detailed controls over multiple physical modeling parameters, the Steampipe is capable of generating very organic emulations of real instruments, but it goes well beyond the conventional pitch and dynamic ranges they can produce – imagine how a flute or clarinet would sound in C1 or C7! The Breath of the Machine: Erica Synths Steampipe Physical Modeling Synthesizer The Erica Synths Steampipe is a rare beast in the hardware world: a dedicated 8-voice polyphonic synthesizer that completely abandons traditional oscillators. Developed in collaboration with 112dB, it uses advanced physical modeling to simulate the way sound is born in wind and string instruments. From delicate, ethereal flutes to brutal industrial horns and massive cinematic drones, the Steampipe is an instrument that feels alive. Why the Steampipe is a Game-Changer: No Oscillators, Pure Resonance: Sound begins in the Steam section (the exciter), where a noise generator mimics a musician's breath. It then travels to the Pipe (the resonator), a tuned delay line that emulates the body of an instrument. 8-Voice Polyphony: Unlike most physical modeling units which are monophonic, the Steampipe allows for rich chords and complex polyphonic textures that sound incredibly organic. MPE & Wind Controller Optimized: While it works with any MIDI keyboard, the Steampipe shines when used with MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression) or wind controllers, reacting with the nuance of an acoustic instrument. Tactile Modulation: With 32 adjustable parameters, 5 assignable LFOs, and a high-resolution display, you can dive deep into sound design without ever touching a computer. External Excitation: Use the External Audio Input to replace the internal noise burst. This allows you to "excite" the Pipe with your own samples or voice for unconventional, hybrid textures.

cyma forma RND | 4-Track Multi-Layer Random Synthesizer
cyma forma

cyma forma RND | 4-Track Multi-Layer Random Synthesizer

One button, 4 billion ideas. RND synth is a collaboration between cyma forma and french artist Bambounou, built around a single idea: stop playing, start listening. Each musical idea is made of up to four instruments that can live together. Each one draws from one of eight synthesis engines and runs its own random musical sequence. Every time the button is pressed, all of the many parameters across all features are set to random values, giving birth to a synthesized idea that only exists until the next press of the button. Not presets, not samples, but an infinite source of sounds. Trade control for inspiration Beneath its minimalist, pocket-sized exterior rests an absolute beast of a multi-timbral digital audio core. Every time the button is struck, the RND randomly coordinates up to four simultaneous instruments per patch, assigning each one to its own independent sound-design loop, drone, or generative Euclidean sequence. The internal algorithms draw on eight separate, high-resolution synthesis topologies—including Subtractive, FM, Acid, Noise, Speech, Karplus-Strong, Supersaw, and Additive models—tuning them seamlessly across 20 onboard musical scales to ensure every single randomized seed remains fiercely cohesive, inspiring, and ready to record. Blip Expert Take The RND Synth is the ultimate antidote to staring blankly at an empty DAW timeline. It behaves like "doom scrolling" for modular-grade sounds and rhythmic motifs. Because it completely lacks an internal preset memory bank, it forces you into a high-focus sampling workflow—you either capture the lightning in a bottle on your recorder right then, or let it slip away forever. While the hardware chassis is beautifully minimal, its studio integration is an absolute masterclass in connectivity. The multi-channel USB-C audio stream splits all 4 generated layers completely separate into your computer before they hit the master reverb block. If it rolls a patch where track 1 is a heavy acid bassline and track 2 is an organic physical-modeling percussion pulse, you can track them onto separate channels in your DAW at the same time. Furthermore, its 9 distinct MIDI modes allow you to completely override the automated sequences using an external keyboard, turning this unpredictable generator into a playable, highly expressive multi-timbral desktop synthesizer voice. Who Is This For? Hardware Technologists & Producers: Electronic artists who want an instant, endlessly updating source of syncopated rhythms, unique timbres, and complex loops to lock to their studio master clock. Sampling & Sound Design Purists: Musicians looking to break out of predictable workflow loops who require raw, unquantized audio fragments to chop up inside a hardware sampler.

cyma forma ALT | Generative Analog Pin-Matrix Soundscape Synthesizer

Generative analog synth ALT is an analog synthesizer designed for drones, soundscapes, and complex generative melodies. It can be played precisely, with great control over melodies and rhythms, or it can be guided to play itself, creating magical, random surprises. It has eyes and ears: two light sensors and a built-in microphone that allow for spontaneous sound modulation based on its environment. ALT is an exploration machine. ALT has many sources: 5 oscillators, a white noise, a microphone… The oscillators have different shapes, different frequency ranges, they can be independently panned, and detuned and their frequencies can either be free, or follow one of 14 scales. All scales can be edited and notes can be removed and brought back quickly for modal changes on the fly. There are two tuning systems to chose from: equal temperament or just intonation. Give character to your sound ALT’ effect section includes two filters and a delay, which can also be used on external audio, like an effects pedal. Both filters are stereo, in series. They can be low-pass, high-pass, and everything in between, allowing for precise band-pass control. Their resonance can go to extreme levels, self oscillating, creating two extra voices. Filters have special performance buttons called ripples. The delay is very powerful, capable of creating an infinite feedback loop that never stops growing. It has a performance button too, called more, that is quite self explanatory. Initiate motion The modulation pin matrix is where the sound is set in motion. Create movement in 19 different parameters using 4 modulation sources. The sources are two LFOs, a sample and hold called Random and an enveloppe follower called Outline. The LFOs have a high rate switch for FM an AM synthesis. Outline is special, it can use the signal from the microphone, or the jack input (audio or CV), and use it to modulate anything. This allows you to sync ALT with its surroundings: your voice, claps, a drum machine, a cv sequencer… anything really. Amongst the matrix destinations is a strange arpeggiator that uses the modulation amplitude levels to trigger voices in different orders. ALT can be guided to play ever-evolving melodies and rhythms. All of this being controlled with pins. At the core of the ALT lies a unique 5-voice sound generation architecture paired with a tactile 5-key mechanical keyboard cluster and individual voice amplitude sliders. Pitch tracking is governed by a highly advanced Harmonic Quantizer featuring 14 distinct, fully customizable scale presets (ranging from Balinese Pelog to Hijaz) across both Equal Temperament and Just Intonation scales. To breathe fluid, unpredictable life into these oscillators, the center panel features a tactile 4x19 pin modulation matrix. Utilizing small 2mm banana pins, performers can route four complex modulation sources directly into 19 individual destinations, completely bypassing traditional patch cables for an immediate, touch-responsive signal patching flow.

Analogue Solutions

Analogue Solutions Filtopia | Limited Edition Parallel 5-Filter Analogue Monosynth

Limited to 200 units worldwide! Pre-order now to secure your order Filtopia is expected to be available in August Analogue Solutions once again proves that analog synthesizers don't have to follow convention. The new Filtopia combines classic subtractive synthesis with a truly distinctive architecture: five parallel analog multimode filters form the core of the instrument, unlocking sonic possibilities that go far beyond traditional filter sweeps. Rather than modulating a single filter, Filtopia allows all five filters to operate simultaneously, each with its own cutoff, resonance, and modulation settings. The result is exceptionally wide multi-band sweeps, intricate resonance textures, and organic formant and vocal-like sounds more commonly associated with dedicated filter banks or modular systems than with conventional monosynths. This innovative filter architecture makes Filtopia a powerful instrument for creative sound design. Despite its experimental concept, Filtopia features a fully analog signal path. Three analog VCOs, two sub-oscillators, two LFOs, three ADSR envelope generators, two VCAs (including one with integrated echo), an 8-step sequencer, and extensive CV patch points allow it to function equally well as a classic lead and bass synthesizer or as a semi-modular sound design laboratory. An external audio input also enables drum machines, grooveboxes, software synths, and other audio sources to be processed through the unique five-filter section, adding unmistakable analog character to virtually any signal. As with all Analogue Solutions instruments, designer Tom Carpenter relies on traditional analog circuitry inspired by classic 1970s synthesizer designs. The complete audio and modulation path remains fully analog, while only the MIDI-to-CV conversion and sequencer control are digitally implemented. Filtopia is designed and handcrafted in the United Kingdom. Limited to just 200 units worldwide, Filtopia is aimed at musicians, sound designers, and collectors seeking an extraordinary boutique analog instrument with truly exclusive character. Unique five-filter architecture with five parallel analog multimode filters Formant, vocal, and multi-band filtering effects without requiring a modular system Fully analog signal path for authentic vintage analog tone Functions as a synthesizer, effects processor, and semi-modular sound design tool Extensive CV patching with Eurorack compatibility Limited boutique production of only 200 units worldwide

Finegear The Dirt Magnet Cassette Tape Delay & Multi-FX

Analog effects, tweaked for creative misuse. The Dirt Magnet is the second installment of the Arkive_Effects_ series, bringing a new collection of classic sounding effects, extended with exciting expression and modulation possibilities. Just as before, each module has been analyzed and tweaked for creative misuse. The Dirt Magnet contains two VC LFOs, a noise generator with a Band-Pass filter, a crackle generator with a High-Pass filter, a ring modulator, a VCF and a real-life cassette-tape Delay.  You can use and abuse any and/or all of the effects to add noise or crackle to your sounds, ring modulate them, filter them, or delay them using the two-tap tape Delay. Any chaining combination is possible, as this collection of sound generators and analog effects comes with independent inputs and outputs. Using the two included LFOs or the modulation source of your choice (or both!) you can also modulate the noise generator’s filter, the crackle generator’s density, the filter, as well as the speed and feedback of the tape delay. The LFOs themselves are digital, allowing a wider frequency range, more waveform shapes, as well as MIDI syncing.  The magic grunge of The Dirt Magnet sticks to the hypnotizing cassette-tape and is ready to transform your sounds into grainy, warbled and modulated soundscapes. Pretty is overrated! In our search for unique sounds and new uses for classic effects, we devised The Dirt Magnet as a playground for raw & expressive sonic explorations. Modulate the dirt Building up on the Arkive_Effects_ principle of opening up effects you thought you knew, The Dirt Magnet has the same appetite for modulation as The Dust Collector…if not bigger! This time, *all* of the effects have been opened up by adding CV modulation for the relevant parameters, thus bringing these apparently simple effects to a new playground.Check this out:  LFOs. Two CV outputs, one inverted output as well as a CV input for speed control, and one for symmetry modulation Noise. CV-modulated Level and Frequency & Band-width for the Band Pass Filter.
