Lush Forest is a Kontakt sample instrument designed to provide lush muted string sounds.

The original goal was to have a Kontakt Instrument of clean reverbey guitar notes to make it easier to sketch ambient sections, instead of having to get the guitar and set up the recording chain.

Once loaded into Kontakt the samples took a life of their own, and with some basic volume modulation and filtering a new instrument was born.
