White Tears

White Tears is a soundbank for Arturia Pigments and Analog Lab V with 40 emotional and mostly plucky keys (a combination of an electric piano and a wavetable synth).

The goal of this soundbank is specific – sometimes we need some instruments in our productions that are not so much obvious in the final sonic result but they are important to fill some gaps.

Except from a couple of presets here all of them are serving this role. Calm and neutral sounds that always find a place and connect the pieces.

Those patches are very good for playing arps both ascending and descending ones. The use of delay and an obvious reverb is very helpful.

This is a modern soundbank that could fit to genres like pop, ballads, easy listening music, new age and electronic.

MW adds vibrato while Aftertouch is modulating the pitch. All 4 macros are assigned to Voices (Unison and Detune), Frequency Modulation, Wavefold and the send intensity to the AUX reverb device.

All presets designed with Pigments 4.1.0.3420 (x64) and run best with this or newer edition
