Fades in a DAW???

XFade is a simple and efficient crossfader suitable for mixing, production, and live performances. It’s designed with producers and DAW DJs in mind and allows for fading between 2 input streams within the DAW, while also having the additional capacity of overlaying samples on each side.

Lightning Fast

XFade operates with 0 latency and can fade in/out more than once in a buffer. This plugin is lightning-fast, even with larger buffers and older sound cards. If you plan on crab scratching in your DAW, this tool is a must. Be sure you’re working with a high-speed MIDI device because XFade can definitely keep up!

Adjustable Cutoff

Adjust the crossfade slope to suit your fancy: use a sharp curve for fast cuts, or a gradual slope for slow and smooth fades between tracks.

Overlay audio with sample players

Additionally, there are sample players on each side which can overlay audio into the mix. 

Overlay audio into the mix by using XFade’s built-in sample players on each side of the audio spectrum. Keep an extra track to fall back on when mixing, blast an air horn or a one-shot for some extra energy, or have a loop to fall back on while someone drops a solo. This makes XFade a must for live performances.
