MG Sweet Uke captures the natural beauty of a high-end ukulele in a fingerpicking style, recorded through Mike's trusted Neumann TLM-193 condenser microphone. The main notes feature 3x round robins across 3 velocity layers, while slurs (2x round robins, covering both hammer-ons and pull-offs) trigger automatically when a previous note is held and overlapped. Additional realism-enhancing scripting works quietly behind the scenes to keep everything feeling natural and expressive.

Mike is delighted to offer MG Sweet Uke completely free of charge (full Kontakt 5 or higher required). A commercial version is also in the pipeline for release very soon, promising more detailed scripting and expanded features including chord and strumming capabilities — so be sure to keep an eye out for new MG releases coming very soon.

Note: Mike extended the instrument's note range down by an octave, stretching the lowest note (C3) downwards — and the results speak for themselves.
