A talk box plug-in allows you to recreate the sound of the classic talk box without hardware and directly on your DAW, resulting in an authentic emulation of the iconic sound of Daft Punk, Bon Jovi, and many others.
HOW DOES ARTICULATOR WORK?
Articulator extrapolates the vocal’s formant modulation and amplitude information and apply them to another track or a noise generator in real-time. This is made possible by a state-of-the-art algorithm that perfectly maps out the vocal profile and transfers the extracted data to an audio track containing a melody. Articulator requires two signals to create a talk box effect: an audio signal and a control signal. The audio signal is the musical instruments you want to sound like your voice, while the control signal is the recording of the vocals you wish to use. Apply the Articulator plug-in to the audio signal’s track. Next, select the control signal as the sidechain input, and test the Articulator’s effect by muting the control signal in the main mix.
